Ans. Tricki  has become hugely fat. It looks very odd . It's eyes are blood red . It's tongue lolls down its jaws . Therefore she is worried about Tricki .

Ans. She at once calls Dr. Herriot  to him . She is wise in this because no one can know about animals except the centenary doctor .

Ans. He is tempted to keep Tricki on as a permanent guest as that way they would get eggs , wine etc. These are supplied by Mrs. Pumphrey not for them but for Tricki .

Ans. Mrs. Pumphrey thinks so as it is the surgeon who has made Tricki all right . It's stay at the hospital has cured him of its illness .

Qus.5 Do you think Tricki was happy to go home ? What do you think will happen now ?
Ans. Yes. Tricki was happy to go home . It is seen by the fact that when Mrs. Pumphrey comes to the surgery to take Tricki home . It jumps into her lap . It licks her face . I think that Mrs pumphrey will again give Tricki a lot of food . It would grow sick again .

Qus.6 Do you think this is a real life episode , or mere fiction ? Or it is a mixture of both ?
Ans. I think it is a real life episode with some part of fiction .In fact it is a mixture of both .

Qus.7 What was the real disease that Tricki was suffering from ?
Ans. Actually , Tricki had not any physical disease . He had a vomiting problem  because of over feeding . He was lazy because he did not do any physical exercise .

Qus.8 What was Mr. Herriot's strict advise ? Did Mrs. Pumphrey heed his advice ?
Ans. Mr .  Herriot told Mrs . Pumphrey severely to reduce Tricki 's  diet and to give him more exercise . Otherwise Tricki would really be really ill . But she could not do so . She found it difficult to keep the dog on strict diet .

Qus.9 How did he become an accepted member of the gang and start enjoying the company of other dogs ?
Ans. On the third day Tricki began to show some interest in his surroundings . He also felt the urge to join the pack . He started to eat his share of food . He ran about with them . Thus he became an accepted member of his party .

Ans. Mrs. Pumphrey was a very wealthy lady . She loved his dog Tricki very much . She pampered overfed him . She gave him much nutritious food . Tricki was very greedy . He never refused food . This made him hugely fat and lazy . Mrs . Pumphrey was very much worried about him . She almost swooned when Herriot told her that Tricki must be hospitalised . This shows that she was very emotional lady .
