The central Idea of the poem --------------------------------------------
In this poem,Walt Whitman praises animals for being better than humans . They keep all those qualities that human beings have either forgotten or knowingly ignored . Like humans they don't develop greed , envy, hatred and malice towards others. That is why the poet wants to live with them and experience a peaceful life where no-one complains . They are free from sorrows and sufferings of life .
