Who Was Lencho?

                   Answer.

 Lencho was a poor farmer. He lived in an entire valley on the crest of a low hill with his family.



                  Question 2.

 Why did Lencho Call the postal employees a bunch of crooks?

                     Answer.

  Lencho got only seventy pesos. He thought that remaing thirty pesos has been taken by the postal employees . So he called them a bunch of crooks .



                     Question 3.

  Why did Lencho need help from God ?

                    Answer.

The rain with heavy hailstorm had ruined Lencho's field of ripe corn. So he was sad. His only hope was - help from God .

Why did the postmaster laugh at Lencho's letter ?

                  Answer.
 
The postmaster laughed at Lencho's letter because it was addressed to God.

Why did Lencho say the rain drops were like 'new coins '?

                   Answer.

 Lencho said so because they looked like 'new coins' of ten and five cents. The smaller drops mean t a little less crop and less money.

When did Lencho receive the money ? Why did he become angry?

Lencho received the money on following Sunday. On counting the money there were only seventy pesos. He thought the postal employees have taken thirty pesos. So he became angry.

                        Answer.

Lencho was a hard  working farmer. He worked hard in his field like an ox. 
         He lived in an entire valley on the crest of a low hill with his family.

 What did Lencho write to God ?

                  Answer.

 Lencho wrote to God that if He didn't help him, his family and he  would go hungry that year. He needed a hundred Pesos in order to sow his field again and to survive until the new crop came because the hailstorm had destroyed his entire crop.

Estimate the destruction caused by hailstones ?

                   Answer. 

The corn was totally destroyed. Not a leaf remained on the trees. The flowers had gone from the plants. The hailstones had left nothing. Even a plague of locusts would have caused so much destruction.



                   Question.10 

Why and how did the postmaster send the money to Lencho ?

                       Answer. 
 
The postmaster wanted to help Lencho so that his faith in God might not be shaken.With his effort s he could collect seventy pesos. He  put the money in an envelope , wrote Lencho's address on it and sent it to him.
